My Story: Two years ago, I was working at an Audi dealership in customer relations. The general manager asked me to drive an A8 to Ted Koppel’s (Nightline, BBC, NBC, NPR) house. I was to drop off the A8 with him and pick up his A7 for service. While I was there, Mr. Koppel took me into his garage where he kept his 1-owner NSX. He was very proud of the car and went over every inch of it with me.

My absolute best was taking the Willys out for the first time after spending the better part of a decade building it with my dad.
Second best was flogging an RS5 that my boss let me drive once. That was a blast.

Experience real power for the first time via a 500HP E63 AMG. A month after I got my licence my sister got me a session at Mercedes Benz world which was supposed to be off roading in a M Class but someone crashed it into the only other one they had. Fortunately they had a bunch of AMG cars lying about so they got them out for everyone to have an hour’s fun each in. Plus I got to have Nandos afterwards. A great day out all in all.

The first time I drove the Rover was pretty legit. No paint at that point, so portions were aluminum/red, others were blue, and the driver’s door was yellow and green.

I like Ted Koppel so much more now.
My best memory is attending SEMA in ‘08. Got in because my brother was working for a marketing company with Black Magic products. I wore Bill Goldberg’s credentials - ha! There were so many ridiculous, stupid cars there, but I got to see so many other amazing cars in the flesh as well. Tons of supercars, the Audi R8 right when it had been released, and above all others, an F40 in the flesh, with the door open to see the details inside.

Going to Italy in Dec. 2010 to visit my sister with my mom and my sister’s fiance. I had told my sister that she could take us to all the art museums and whatever else she wanted to do, but I wanted to go to Maranello to see the Ferrari Gallery. So one day she and my mom went shopping and her fiance and I took off for Maranello.
Just before we arrived at the gallery, he handed me a card that said “Merry Christmas” in my mother’s handwriting on the envelope. I opened it up and shit-load of money fell out. I quickly gathered it all up and looked back in the card and it said “Your Christmas Present this year is 1/2 hour in a Ferrari 458. There’s enough money for Adam to drive too and you don’t get to accept your gift unless he accepts his. Enjoy!”

I....I don’t know.
Probably when my Cavalier was brand new (to me) and I took it out for a little spin in the cool area of town. Some woman shouted “nice cavalier” from the sidewalk. It was awesome.
